In business, I think that execution is one of the necessary learned skills that is imperative for any entrepreneur or business to be a success. This brings me to my next thought and today’s blog post:

Execution doesn’t do anything if it’s not coupled with proper planning. Planning prior to execution is the recipe for success.

How to do this:

1. Put together a strategic plan for what you would like to achieve. I suggest trying to keep things as simple and attainable as possible so you don’t end up setting your goals to high and become disappointed. That being said, be sure to have your end goal as big as you want it, no matter what anyone else thinks. Less than one page with simple numbered steps is a good start.

2. Execution is a learned skill. It is a doggedness and a never give up attitude that when you put your mind to something that you will no matter what complete and achieve it. Sometimes its fun and other time it feels like it’s the worst thing you’ve ever done and you can barely bring yourself to do it. Push on, and execute no matter what. Fully Execute.

Put together your strategic plan (which will always end up being different BTW, and that’s OK) so you have a basis to work from and execute on each of your steps and benchmarks along the way until your plan is complete. This will not only give you great satisfaction of accomplishment but also bring you to whatever it is that you are trying to achieve.

With proper planning and execution anything is attainable.
