Since this is the first Friday since my new blog schedule and “Anything Friday” I decided to introduce you to a very young talented pianist who happens to also be my cousin! I’m really proud of my younger cousin Rian Crowe, who is super gifted, and consequently reminds me a little of myself when I was his age.
Here he is playing a famous piece by Russian composer, and pianist Sergei Rachmaninoff – Op. 3 No.2, Prelude in C-sharp Minor. Have a listen for yourself, not bad at all for a 16 year old from Chicago!
From someone who has recently started listening to more and more classical music, (which is a big change from my regular Techno I jam out to while I’m working), there is a soothing and thought provoking tone to music such as this. Lately, I have been listening to stations that I created on Pandora, which I highly suggest you try, with Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. What better way to listen to great music, and all for free!!!
